The Grand Hyatt Bogotá offers 2,857 m² of meeting space including a 1,045 m² ballroom for 1,000 guests. Most international hotels in the Zona T / Parque 93 area have their own conference facilities.

Hotel Landscape

Bogotá has the largest concentration of international luxury hotel brands in Colombia, with 10–15 internationally branded 5-star properties and substantial 4-star supply.

Key brands: JW Marriott (Parque 93), Four Seasons Casa Medina, Grand Hyatt (Usaquén, 372 rooms), Sofitel Victoria Regia (Zona T), W Bogotá (Usaquén), Hilton Bogotá Corferias, plus multiple Marriott and Hilton flags in development.

Business hotel districts: Zona T / Parque 93 / Zona G (Chapinero Norte) is the main luxury and business corridor. Usaquén offers boutique and upscale properties in a quieter setting. The Corferias district provides convention-adjacent accommodation.

Rates: 5-star hotels range USD 200–500/night. Business lunches at quality restaurants run USD 15–40/person. Competitive with Panama City, significantly below Mexico City or São Paulo.

Transportation & Access

El Dorado International Airport (BOG) — Ranked the most connected airport in Latin America with 30 airlines serving 117 international destinations. Direct flights from New York JFK, Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Orlando, Los Angeles, Washington Dulles, Madrid, London Heathrow, Barcelona, and Munich. Airlines include Avianca, American, United, Air France, Lufthansa, LATAM, Copa, and more.

Transfer time: Airport to Zona T / Parque 93 is approximately 45–60 minutes by car (traffic-dependent). Uber operates widely and is the recommended option for business travelers.

Dining & Companion Programs

Bogotá is Colombia’s gastronomy capital. Leo ranks #10 on Latin America’s 50 Best Restaurants, Humo Negro #45. The Zona G district is the city’s restaurant row. Andrés Carne de Res in Chía (30 min) is a standard incentive excursion — an iconic mega-restaurant and nightclub.

Cultural attractions: Gold Museum, Monserrate (cable car to 3,152 m viewpoint), La Candelaria historic district, Botero Museum, Usaquén Sunday flea market. Zona T and Parque 93 offer upscale shopping and nightlife.

Practical Information

Climate: Year-round mild temperatures of 14–19°C (57–66°F). Always bring a layer — the altitude keeps it cool. No mosquito-borne disease risk at this elevation.

Altitude (2,640 m / 8,660 ft): Most delegates notice mild fatigue on day 1. We recommend building in a buffer day before heavy conference schedules. Stay hydrated and limit alcohol for the first 48 hours.

Safety: The Zona T, Parque 93, Usaquén, and Chico districts are safe and internationally oriented. Standard urban precautions apply — use Uber over street taxis, don’t display expensive devices in public areas.
